モデルの猫は作者の飼い猫です。
けれどその一方で、この作品に描かれている猫は、作者が共に暮らしている猫をモデルにしています。
しかし同時に、それは第三の存在―いち観察者として、日常を静かに見つめる目撃者でもあります。

あるときは「あなた」であり、またあるときは「わたし」かもしれません。
この曖昧さの中で、猫は鏡のような存在となり、私たちの孤独やまなざし、そして世界における私たちの在りかを映し出します。


The cat depicted in this work is modeled after my own companion.
Yet it also exists as a third presence—an observer, a quiet witness to the everyday.
At times, it may be you. At other times, it may be me.
In this ambiguity, the cat becomes a mirror—reflecting our solitude, our gaze, and our place in the world.
